Had a phone call with Delmy at 7:30AM my time. We started out with small talk and reviewed the assignment We did not do a really good job doing quiet listening 😆 Talked a lot about my life and my background Next week we’ll talk about her life
Being quiet is hard, especially for both of us. We really probably could have used a referee to practice and keep us in line. I think next time, since I’ll be doing most of the listening, I’ll be quiet. The phone does make it more difficult because though we’re not supposed to respond with nods or any other body language, at least there is someone to look at to see movement. The phone is just talking into the void, or so it would seem.
